Welcome to the Center for Psychotherapy. Based in Brooklyn, NY, we're a select team of highly experienced, state-licensed clinicians who've worked together for many years, each with extensive experience and New York State certified in clinical social work and many with additional post-graduate training and certification.     We provide counseling and psychotherapy plus educational seminars and presentations on numerous topics related to family life.   WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE? In the context of cultural sensitivity, we partner with consumers to address clinical issues on three distinct levels: personal, interpersonal and systemic--a comprehensive approach with a high probability of success.  Most other change and improvement approaches focus only on one and at most two of these factors.     The center is headed by John McQueen--Family Therapist, Certified Family Life Educator, Mental Health Harm Reduction Specialist, and Educator.

For over twenty-five years, John has also been conducting workshops and giving lectures throughout the United States, Canada and the English speaking Caribbean in areas such as parent effectiveness training, cultural competency, self-actualization, and family life education.
